Deleting it

I received a strange looking email and promptly deleted it. I then switched
to the Deleted Items file to permanently delete it and the email in question
was not there. I received another strange email the next day and again
deleted it and went to the Delete file and again it wasn't there. Every
email I had deleted before and since went to the Delete file. Why didn't
this one? Is it something that could cause further problems?

Check your View settings for the folder. Next time you want to delete junk,
hold the shift key down while you delete it. It will be permanently deleted.
