deleting messages in outlook 2003

As of right now if I delete messages in Outlook they will delete from my
online msn email account set up through hotmail.com.

I would like to be able to delete messages in Outlook and not delete them at
hotmail.com.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Diane Poremsky {MVP}

If the paid accounts support POP3 and you use POP3 to access the email, then
you can delete locally and it won't be deleted online. But if you use the
Outlook connector, you are just viewing a local cache of the online acct and
changes made locally will reflect online.
