deleting messages - new corruption?

All of a sudden, for no apparent reason, my Outlook 2000 now will not allow
me to delete messaages. Please help - my Inbox is filling up with porn spam!
:( It says "try restarting Outlook," but believe me I have tried that... do
I need to reinstall?

here is an idea go to www.spampal.org it is a free spam blocker for windows.
it will show you how to set it up and everything and hopefully it will fix
your problem. i was getting about 400 spam emails a day and now it blocks a
majority of them

Empty your Deleted Items folder, compact your PST and try deleting again.
