Deleting Messages with IMAP in Entourage (Office 2004 for MAC)

I just purchaesd my first Mac and installed MS Office 2004. I made Entourage
my defaut mail and set up my account for work; the account at work is an
IMAP. The problem I am incurring is that some of the messages received off
of our server can not be deleted or moved. They just stay in the Inbox.

I have tried evrything from removing from the server, deleting, moving to
folder, changing the settings for deleting and purging. Nothing has worked.
I have no problems with my POP3 account. Can anyone help me with this?
