Deleting Microsoft templates

I have no use for Microsoft templates apart for the
Normal blank one I would therefore like to remove all
Microsoft templates and be able to replace them by my
own. I would also like to rename the existing templates
tab to more relevant title for my own.

You will need to use Control Panel>Add Remove Programs to
modify your Word installation. Tell it to remove the
templates. All will be removed except New Blank Document,
Web Page and E-Mail with thier tabs.

Before doing this, I recommend your copy the template
files to another location. This way if you ever want to
use one (and you might) it is easy to put back.

Create a new folder in the template directory and put at
least one of your own templates in that folder. A tab
with that folder name will appear next time you start Word.
