Deleting multiple network cards

I recently switched to a static IP. I was in the process of setting up XP.
When doing so I repeated the process several times. Now I am told more than
one network adapter has the same IP address, but Windows in not displaying
the adapters because the adapters are not installed. The problem I am
having is trying to remove these cards since I can't see them. Does anyone
have any ideas how I go about removing these adapters.
