Deleting page breaks

I have a work instruction that I need to condense to make more room, but it's
already been made. The person who made it before put in a lot of page breaks
and I can't condense this instruction sheet because I can't delete the spaces
caused by this page break.

I need to know how to delete them. I'm not sure what year this is. I think
it's a 2000. The company hasn't updated in a while. Thanks.

If you turn on your nonprinting characters (Ctrl+Shift+* or click ¶) do you
see -------Page Break------- or does the page simply break at certain points
without the page break indicator? If the former then click the page break
and press Delete. If the latter then check the Pagination setting for the
paragraphs surrounding the page break by going to Format/Paragraph/Line and
Page Breaks. Check the "Page break before", "Keep with next", and "Keep
lines together" options. It could one of these (or all) options are causing
the page breaks.
