deleting pictures without creating copies

K

Karen

Everytime I delete pictures, either individually or a group, I get copy after
copy. How can I just delete the picture and not have it come back to haunt
me?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Context would help here. I've never encountered a situation in which
deleting pictures resulted in copies.

What Office application are you using to delete the pictures, and what steps
are you using? Providing enough information so we can replicated/reproduce
what's happening would be the quickest way to a solution.

Try pressing the delete key to delete the items instead of the mouse
actions. Likely cause of your problem is that if the mouse is shifted
between the point where you click to select and then release the mouse
button you will create copies by default.
