deleting search results

I have info on my machine that I would like to delete. Search info/pictures.
When I type pict into search it keeps a record, including

Name Date Type Folder Author etc.

The delete button via right click does not allow for removal! I'd like to
remove all this info. Can anyone help?

Search results are in index.

I suspect that this is NOT a search in a Microsoft Access database but rather
the Windows search tool... right?

If so please repost your question in a newsgroup supporting your version of
Windows. It would help a lot if you indicate what version of Windows you're
using and what search tool.
