I am running Outlook 2000 SP-3.

How do I use the Rules Wizard to delete a message after it has been sent?

You mean you don't want it to be saved in the Sent Items folder? Why not
just disable saving it?

My default setting is to save a copy of all outgoing mail in the Sent Items
folder. How do I disable that setting for one category of messages?

For one category? I don't think you can. You have a few options. The
first is to disable for just a single message. View>Options on the Compose
window menu bar will contain the checkbox for that.

Another option is to disable saving saving to Sent Items and then use a
"Check messages after sending" rule to save it if your conditions meet one
of the conditions you can specify in a rule of that nature.
