how do I delete a column in Excel on a mac. On a pc I just right click, but that does not seem to work here.

Well, among other ways, you can right-click (or CTRL-click) the column
heading and choose Delete.

Or you can select the column and click CTRL-k.

Or you can select the column and choose Edit/Delete.
