Delta publishing

Matteo

Dear all,
Is it a available a way through project professional 2007 to publish only a
delta of the project (only tasks changes, or only single tasks) I am asking
this because each time I publish all the resources that have tasks inside
receive a mail saying:

" Below are the latest schedule changes. Contact your project manager if
there are any problems with the changes."

but in the reality there are no changes in only a double notification of the
same task.

Thank you.

From what I know, the publishing in 2007 is not like in 2003 where you could
be selective in what you publish. I hope they address this.

Matteo:

You can selectively publish tasks by exposing the Publish field in and task
view. If this is set to yes, the system publishes the task, if set to no,
then it will not. One of the things our book Implementing and Administering
instructs you to do, is to create a number of important views that Microsoft
left out of the base set of views for Project 2007 with Project Server. A
publishing view is one of them.
