Once upon a time you wrote an email and Outlook created a
Conversation Topic from the subject field. If anyone
replied or forwarded the message Outlook created a
Conversation Topic from the preceding message's
Conversation Topic.
i.e. Conversation Topics did exactly what they were meant
for - maintaining the string of a conversation (you could
group by conversation).
Outlook XP and Outlook 2003 beta seems to have changed
this. Conversation Topic is derived from the subject field
whether you create new, reply or forward messages.
Conversation Topic has been meaningless ever since.
Or is it my fault?
