Denied accses to my pst files after a reintalling windows

I have office xp and after using a recovery disk to
format c and reinstall windows, I recive a warning
message when trying to open my old saved pst files.
Thanks in advance.

I assume you have copied the old PST back on your harddisk.
In that case right click on the pst file , go to properties and check if the
file has the attribute READ.
