Deny Printing

Hi Sally,

I'm sure there is more to the question than you posted, could you tell us a
bit more about what you are doing and what you are seeking.?

As both Austin and Sonia mentioned, there is no way to completely forbid
printing of a slide, but there are some things that can be done in some
instances to cut down on the number of pages printed and such.

Example: As an educator I want to post my Powerpoint on the network for
students to view but I don't want them to use lab resources to print the
slides. You can deny printing for a PDF file. I was hoping the same was
true of Powerpoint.

Is there a way to set the Powerpoint printer default for "9 slides per page"
instead of "one per page"?

One way is to provide a PDF or Word document that has multiple slides laid out
and formatted to your specs. They could still print it their way, but a small
print friendly copy might deter most of them.
