Dependent List Source problem

Excel 2003

I have defined and built a named list, and a dependent data list, following
Debora's excellent instructions. Can you tell me why, when I to #2 - Create
the Dependent Data Validation, I get "Source currently evaluates to an
error"? I've made these dependent lists before, so I know it works.

maybe post the formulas you have used. Probably a typo or something
similar

If you select an item from the first list, then create the dependent
list, you shouldn't see the error message.

But if nothing was selected, you can click Yes when you see the message.
The dependent list should work as soon as you've selected an item from
the first list.

Debra -

I put the cursor on a data validation cell, then removed and recreated the
names for the dependent data validation. I checked back to the form after
naming each list, and it worked!! The only thing different was putting the
cursor on the data validation cell. Thanks for your help.
