Deploying an Enterprise Project Management based on Project Server 2003, your thoughts?

I am looking at developing and deploying an EPM solution based on Microsoft
technologies in a small-medium size organisation made up 30 users and 40 or
so projects. In place we have Office 2003 Professional Suite including
Project Professional 2003 and InfoPath 2003, a SharePoint server running the
WSS intranet backed up by MSDE backend.

I would like to hear from those who experienced deploying an enterprise
project management solution based on Microsoft office project server 2003
and its technologies. I am interested to see information about people and
processes, and time-scale involved in enabling such solution.

I am reading through the configuration planning guide, your own experience
and other online documentation you can point me to would be much
appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

In response to my own query
I have found following to be very useful in deed however it is specifically
for 2002.

Description of Enterprise Implementation Framework (EIF) for Project
Professional 2000 and Project Server 2000
