Deployment question

I created an Excel add-in, as well as three Word templates
that are used for automation between Excel and Word. The
add-in and templates work fine. My problem is that my
users are not consistently loading the updates to their
system or else they load them to the wrong directory on
their PC.

I am looking for an easy method to deploy the add-in and
templates (the templates go in a different directory than
the add-in). The add-in goes in a sub-directory which
includes the user's company employee number as part of the
path, so I guess an input box is necessary, which seems to
rule out using executable zip files. I'm interesting in
hearing about any solutions that people have used for this
problem.
