Descending index not supported in the SQL/Sybase server.

I've seen this posted in one other place but did not see a response to
the problem. Anyone know why this is? Using Visio 2003 EA generating
a DDL to SQL 2000.

warning P2100: 'IDX_<Purpose>_Performance' : Descending index is not
supported in the SQL/Sybase server. The index will be created in
ascending collation sequence.
