Hi All,
I am using Access 2K3 as a front end to Oracle 10g. The front-end will be
accessed through Citrix. Should I use linked tables? What is the benefits /
drawbacks of the different possiblities (are there different choices)?
At first I thought about using a DSN-less connection, but this doesn't really
mean anything does it? It only means that I will not set up a DSN on the
Citrix Server, but use VBA code to make the connection. I can still link the
tables this way (DSN-less) can't I?
If I wasn't to link the tables, am I still able to send pass-through queries,
and edit / update the back-end DB? Is this more work that linking the tables?
Any help or advise would be appreciated, and TIA,
Corey
