Design template not appearing in PP XP

Hello

I have created a presentation using my company logo as a background
graphic on the slide. I have saved this as a design template in the
default location.

When I go to apply the template to another presentation, nothing
happens.

However, when I create another template in exactly the same way but
minus the graphics, everything works fine.
Any ideas?

Did you make the changes when you were in the View > Master > Slide Master mode?

Thank you for your help. I have now managed to solve the problem. I
tried to apply the template to the slide master but I hadn't created
the template using the slide master in the first place!
