Desktop Appearance

My PC is on a company network with the win XP operating
system, my desktop appearance is set classic windows view
and I would like to change it to the windows xp default
(green task bar etc)

The problem I have is we can't change the settings on the
PC as they are saved as part of my personal network
profile. Is there a way of making the change by amending
the profile itself, if so where is this saved to usually?

Hi, Andy;
If you were able to make the changes you desire, your profile would be the
place where they were saved. Your company can limit that kind of access, if
they want, and it looks like they have. Try to talk your Network
Administrator into allowing you to have it your way.
