Desktop question

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with a problem that is driving me nuts because I
can't figure it out. I am sure there is a quick fix but I can't seem to
find the answer anywhere. On my desktop going down the left side of it, it
is showing the folder tasks, other places, and details. It takes up almost
1/5 of my screen. The rest is showing my icons. I have tried and tried to
remove it from the desktop to no avail. Does anyone know how to do this?

Well, this group is for questions about Microsoft Access.

As this is a Windows question, I suggest posting in one of the Windows
groups.

Sure would have been nice to mention what version of Windows you are using.
As you didn't, I can only assume you are using the latest version.

I suggest asking your question in one of the 27 Windows XP groups that all
start with microsoft.public.windowsxp.
