Desperate - Crosstab and Sub-Report

I desperately need some advise?

I created a cross tab query so I can create a report and attach it as a
subreport I keep getting an error message that reads:

"You cannot use a pass-through query or a non-fixed-column cross tab query
as a record source for a sub-form or sub-report"

How can I get around this?
