Hi everyone
I came across the Destructive Cursor recently in Word 2003 to delete items
selectively from Recently Opened Files in the File menu. I am aware why
it's called the "Destructive Cursor" and that filenames and paths will,
eventually, fall from the end of the list. I assumed that the same facility
would exist in Excel 2003 but the same key combination doesn't invoke a
Destructive Cursor. Does this facility exist in Excel 2003? If not, how
could I delete items selectively from this list? I suspect that I'd have to
go into the Registry and I'm comfortable with that - it just seems that a
Destructive Cursor is easier (albeit equally dangerous as messing with the
Registry if you don't know what you're doing!).
Thanks for your time.
