I have Office 2003 and loaded the trial version of 2007 onto my computer, I
have since uninstalled the trial version and now can not get office 2003 to
work correctly.

From the Word help menu I did a Detect and Repair with and without choosing
the Discard my customized settings and restore default settings option. If I
choose that option I loose everything in my Outlook if I don't choose it Word
2003 is not restored.

How do I restore office 2003 without loosing everything in my outlook?

Yes you have a problem because Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003 cannot reside
in the same partition: one had to go and obviously it blasted Outlook 2003.

I expect that you can probably save the PST and then reinstall Office 2003
(not repair) which is not a usual recommendation, but should maintain all
the settings for the remainder of Office. You can then restore all the
Outlook stuff from the PST.

But please check with the Outlook Newsgroup first.
