Determining the Age of a Person

Hi there,

How can I create a formula that will determine how old someone is (in years)
if they enter their date of birth in another cell?

ex.

B2 is DOB = 01-01-1970
B3 needs is show age (36)

In B3 use the formula

=DATEDIF(B2,TODAY(),"y")

Use the 'undocumented' DATEDIF function

=DATEDIF(B2,NOW(),"y")

Hello mpenkala,

the formula is working OK but you need to format the cell that contains the
formula with "general" format rather than the date format you currently have
