hi all,

I passed lot of time in searching how to develop a PWA view
programmatically. I find nothing exposed to developer to deal with.
May be, I have not well searched,
Is it possible to make developement about PWA View (like adding,
modifying view, manipulate fields of view)?

I am really lost, please help me!

In PWA, click "Admin" then "Manage Views".

All PWA views are listed there, and some modification and new
additions can be done there.

Yes, I know (server settings --> manage Views) since I work with
Project 2007.
But this modification are very limited

For example in "My assignments" view , we cannot add the field
Deadline...
that's why, I think to do it programmatically...

Any luck on getting this done? I need to create PWA view because the
hyperlink column we added in project pro would not show up in PWA site.

other issue with PWA, if we add a task Entreprise Custom Field to the
"My Task" View, the column is added but data related to different rows
are not displayed. Is this normal or I missed sth?

What do you mean by "but data related to different rows are not
displayed. Is this normal or I missed sth?"?

I mean that the column added to the View is empty (only the header
name of the column is displayed): values of CF related to the
differents assignement in the "My Task" View are not displayed

these are the steps for this:

I create the entreprise custom field "MyTaskCF" (type is Task)

I add the "MyTaskCF" to the view "My Tasks"

I create a project in project pro, in which I make an assignement to a
resource R1, for the task assigned, I fill the field "MyTaskCF" and
then I save and I publish the project

I log On PWA as R1

go to "My Tasks"

I notice that in the assignement received, the field of MyTaskCF is
empty althought I fill it in Project Pro.

that's all :)

any comment.

OK, i was in the same boat at one point, and we figured it out, but i
don't remeber how. So, i'll mention something that comes to mind, but
hopefully someone else will respond. (So, i can learn too!)

Go to Tools=>Customize=>Published Fields and add the field to the task
view.

Also, i read then saw, that there must be text in the field for it to
show. I think this is per project.

Hi! med111,

Do you have the same primary language in Internet Explorer when running as
"R1" as when you created the custom field entry?
