Hi Bill,

I did a google search on 'dglxasset' and the links suggested this:

"I fixed it. Try this--open Word, and click tools. Choose Options. In File
Location you must change the clipart location to cagcat10. Let me know if
that works!"

Hey B,

Thanks for the response, I did check that out this morning
and tried it, from "kristins1877" the only problem is when
I tried that the clipart location has nothing in that
particular field. The other concern about that is I don't
understand why when you have an issue with PP would you go
to Word to resolve that issue. Could you instruct me about
how I might be able to make this work

Thanks again,

Bill T.

OK, let's go back and get some basics.

What version of PowerPoint?

The reason that Word may be involved is that it is an Office application.
They all "work together".

Thanks to everyone for the follow-up.

User is using the following:

Win XP Professional
Win Office 2002 w/SP2

It was resolved by clearing the Temporary Internet Files
of Internet Explorer(Tools, Internet Options,Temporary
Internet Files under the General tab).

Thanks for all the help, BillT!!

I had not heard of the temp files causing that error before. Thank you for
posting back to let the NG know. I'll add it to my "that's weird ..." list.
