I've been working through some of the examples that I've found on this site,
notably those at:

However, I just can't seem to get this to work.
First problem was that the drop-down menu displayed when I moved the mouse
over the main heading. However, as soon as I moved the mouse down the list,
the menu disappeared. I think I sorted this finally by setting cell spacing
to 0. Ugly but it solved this problem.
Next time around, I clicked on the drop-down and hyperlinked to the correct
page. However, when I next tried it, I couldn't get the drop-down menu to
display at all. Refreshing IE didn't sort it and it only worked again by
displaying the page afresh from FP (v. 2003, by the way). But it only worked
once, then same problem.
I'm trying to position this drop-down in the top shared border of my site -
is this, perhaps, the problem?
Incidentally, when it does display, the menu flickers a lot.
I was so pleased to find Jon Spivey's really clear explanation (thanks, Jon)
of how to do this but I just can't understand why I can't get it to work -
I've followed the instructions really carefully, I promise!
Please can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong or perhaps point me in the
direction of another solution.
