DHTML Menus in Frontpage 2003

I have consulted and read Jim Buyens tips on creating drop down menus in
Frontpage 2003. The link is

Jim mentions that there are issues with Dynamic Web Templates on Frontpage
Server Extensions 2002. Could someone elaborate on this for me? I am think
of creating a dynamic web template that includes my menus so that I won't
have to replicate them on every page. I don't want to do all the work and
find out it isn't supported.

The issue is that if you use DWT on a server with the FP extensions, and you apply a new one or make
a change, the change will not automatically be updated to all pages using the DWT unless you open
each page and re-apply the DWT.

Or put another way DWT's will only auto update when used in a DBW.

So if you plan on a lot of menu changes using DWT you'll have to maintain a DBW of the site to edit and publish. Otherwise, you,ll
have to open each DWT page so that it can process the changes.
