Diagonal Lines appear in some text boxes

After creating and test printing (to an Adobe pdf) a large poster (no
problems) when
it was printed at the local FedEx Kinkos, most of the text boxes had a
diagonal line printed from top left to bottom right. This line did not show
in any "print preview" or on the finished pdf. Any thoughts? John
