dial up box

help... my dial up connection box keeps popping up
constantlly. i have checked to be sure it is not
scheduled to do so, but i can't stop it.
an help would be appreciated.

Is your AV software trying to update? Is Windows trying to update? Install
spybot and remove any adware/spyware. If you have installed anything
recently, what is it?
