Dialog opens in background

Hello,

I've installed a Office 2000 SR-1 on a Windows ME with all
the windows update patches available, Norton Anti-virus
2004, Officejet G55 (new HP driver from internet), ADSL
internet.

When I choose File => print. The print dialog opens in
the background. When I minimize the Word 2000 app I get
the dialog and I can click "OK". Then I need to maximize
the Word 2000 app.
This behavior occurs at random 70 % of the times I choose
this option. I've also noticed that I get this on
different dialogs. (Like the 'Extra' => 'options')

I've applied all the Office 2000 patches (SR-3) => Same
result.

Is there any possible solution for this annoyance?

Open Norton Anti Virus and disable the Office plug-in option.
