dictionary - type in a term and the meaning is displayed

I need to set up a glossary.

I have set up a table with the fields "term" and "meaning". I am able to
scroll through the meanings in the table but that is not sufficient

I want to be able to type in a term and the meaning pops up - somewhere -
somehow
