Didn't mean to install this!!

I accidentally installed a new version of Outlook Express (called Microsoft
Office Outlook) when I installed (upgraded) Office to 2007 version. The
installation did not ask me if I wanted to do this. But now my old Outlook
Express which worked okay is gone along with all my saved emails and
contacts, settings, ect. Shouldn't it have incorporated all my old stuff if
it was going to do this. Can I get any of this stuff back?

Outlook is a completely different and seperate program to Outlook Express.
Outlook is a part of Office, if you installed Office using default
installation Outlook will have been installed.
Outlook Express, together with your mail is still there.
In Internet Options set Outlook Express as your default mail handler. If you
dont want to use Outlook insert the Office CD, modify the installation to
remove Outlook
