Difference between Home and Standard Office Edition

Sarreef

I need a quick help, I am trying to find out if the Word, Excel, and PPT of
the Home & Student Edition of Office is different from the ones in the
Standard edition. I would have imagined that they are not a full version of
the software considering the price difference but obviously have not found
anything on that on the website. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The Home and Student are "branded" not for commercial use, in addition
to the licensing as JoAnn mentioned. Otherwise they are the same
application.

Thanks

But i was wondering about the functions in the software - I have always
assumed that the student edition would not have the full functions of
Word/Excel/PPT as in the Standard edition, but couldnt find anything that
says that or differently.

All of the suites have the same functionality with the exception of
Information Rights Management. This is only available when using Office 2007
Ultimate, Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise, or Microsoft Office 2007
Professional Plus. Since IRM also requires Windows Rights Management
Services (RMS) most users won't actually need or miss the additional
functionality. Note documents protected with IRM can be read in all suites.
