Difference between Spanish (International sort) and Spanish (Spain

I would like to know the difference between Spanish (International Sort) and
Spanish (Spain, International Sort).

We have Office 2007 installed on a Windows XP machine and Spanish
(International Sort) is an available language with in the Language settings.

In Vista with Office 2007, the only option available is Spanish (Spain,
International Sort).

I appreciate any input any one can provide.
