difference between these menu option views and Tables

Hi
In MS Project 2007. you can notice the following menu.
View -> More Views and
View -> Tables :


Could someone explain, what is the difference between these menu.
What is grouped and Tables and what is grouped under views ? and Why ?

KS,

A "Table" defines which fields are displayed in which columns (order
size, etc.)

A "View" defines three things: the table to display, the grouping to use
(or not), and the filter to use (or not). Again, like Tables, you can
define Groups and Filters but both of these are under the Project Menu.

Probably best if you open the Help Table of Contents, and see the link
to "View Management" where all this described fully.
