Differences(?) between Outlook 2003 & Outlook XP in IMAP accounts

Hi to everyone!
Is it true that Outlook XP downloads only the header of the messages
and the hole message with double-click but Outlook 2003 downloads the
whole message with a single click?? This must be a mistake or I'm
doing something wrong!!
How can I configure my IMAP accounts in Outlook 2003 so that they 'll
behave like Outlook XP (preview only the title of messages and
download them if I want to with double-click)?
Thanks in advance!

I forget how OL2002 does it, but in OL2003, selecting the message downloads
it - I guess that qualifies as a single click. My message headers all
download and I can see enough in the message list to know if I want to
download or delete - and right click on a message to delete it without
downloading it. You can also take outlook offline to mark messages without
downloading immediately.

Thanks Diane for your response but because of this new situation I had
the following problem: If I had, say, 10 new messages in my IMAP
folder, Outlook shows me headers of the first 9 and because always the
last message is selected (always one message is selected, the last
one) it automatically downloads it. And if this last message is very
big my sytem crashes until the downaloading of the message is
complete. And what if this message contains a virus?? I am intebted to
have it in my disk...
