Different formatting on Different PC's in Word

I have a document that when you open it on PC-A it looks great. If you open
it on any PC other than PC-A the spacing (from page 3 to the end of the
document) is off by 1/2 inch. Are there any options that could contribute to
this?

I checked out the link and ran through some of the suggestions on the two
machines and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any other suggestions?

Hi Ms.,

How long is the document you're looking at in this case?
Things that can affect the length include, as Shauna mentions in her article, where the printer in use by the other party sets page
automatic page breaks. Tables can cause these to change, for example as can the ability of some printers to use small margins at
page edges (especially the bottom) and others to not be able to have a margin smaller than 2/3 of an inch on the bottom of pages.

Another issue is if you have a font that the other person does have the font substitution (Tools=>Options=>Compatability=>Font
Substitution] that Windows tells Word to use may not have exactly the same metrics for laying out the text. Differing versions or
updates in Word can also have an impact.

If the document has any manual page breaks that two can do odd things as can having different settings for graphic sizing in some
cases in Tools=>Options=>General=>Web Options=>Pictures.

Basically, Word is 'text reflow' software, not page layout software. If you don't need the documents to be editable sending them
out as PDF or other 'page layout' format may be helpful if the layout is a key concern.

Thanks!! turned out to be the font. It is amazing how the change from
