Hi,
I want to assign different Rates for a single enterprise resource, with same
effective date, on different projects. Here is what I want to do:
Suppose a resource A is working on two support project. The Projects are for
whole year starting Jan 1st and ending Dec 31st. In Project 1 the rate is
50 and in project B the rate is 75. How can I do that?

If it is not possible, please some one confirm
Any response will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Here is what I would recommend:

1. Ask the Project Server administrator to open the Enterprise Resource
Pool and check out this resource for editing. Double-click the resource
name and select the Costs tab. Set the Cost Rate Table A rate to $50/hour
and set the Cost Rate Table B rate to $75/hour. Save and close the
Enterprise Resource Pool.

2. Assign the resource normally in Project 1, as each assignment in this
project will use the Cost Rate Table A rate ($50) by default. Save and
close the project.

3. Assign the resource to tasks in Project 2, then click View - Task Usage.
Temporarily insert the Cost Rate Table column to the right of the Task Name
column. Set the Cost Rate Table value to B for every one of this resource's
task assignments. Hide the Cost Rate Table column, then save and close the
project.

Hope this helps.
