Different row heights for different columns

I've been trying to figure out how I can use different row heights for
different columns. For example, column 1 contains a series of stations, and
the length is the difference between the stations. I want the length to show
up in column 2, but I don't want it on the same row as station 1 or 2, I want
it offset slightly so that it shows up halfway between the botom of row one
and the bottom of row 2, and I'd like the whole column like that. I hope
this wasn't too confusing and if asked I could elaborate further. Thanks in
advance.

You can position fields anywhere you want in a form or a report. Just put
them where you want them in the detail section. Field two would be offset
from Field one.
