Different sizes cells

This may be a simple one or not possible, but please help!

I am trying to produce a report that requires 2 different size column
on the same row. Is this possible, if so how. Can I protect the to
half and the fiddle with the lower part?

Do you really mean two different column widths on the same row?

If yes, maybe you can come close by adding a textbox (or two) to the cell.

There's a textbox on the Drawing toolbar and another textbox on the Control
toolbox toolbar (they behave differently).

Try merging the cells

format>cell>alignment
