Different views in different versions

I have just started to see different views in different versions. I have
created views in version 3.1 where I am displaying the Date only in short
version. Yet in 2007 it shows both the date and time.

Is this just the way they work or is it a bug? The reason I am asking is as
we move to 2007 am I going to need to redo my work in the 2007 form tool?

Based on my testing, such a stituation (a Date field changed as a Date/Time
field) doesn't occur on my environment.

test 1:
=======
create a test workspace with a form tool in Groove 3.1 => Add a Date field
(short date formatting) in the form => Save the workspace as a template
(*.gsa) => copy it to the computer with Groove 2007 > new a workspace from
the template => the date field shows proper formatting 9/28/2006.

Test 2:
=======
Create a test workspace with a form tool in Groove 3.1 => Add a Date field
(short date formatting) in the form => invite my Groove account (in Groove
2007) into this workspace => go to the computer with Groove 2007 and login my
account to download the workspace => the date field shows proper formatting
9/28/2006.

According to your message, the field is changed from Date to Date/Time.
Please make sure if they are the same field in the forms tool or any person
edited the forms tool.

Normally, the Date field should not be changed as a Date/Time field
automatically.
