Differentiate between Upper and Lower case characters

Hi, how can I make MS products differentiate between Upper and Lower case
characters? i.e. when sorting I would like it to list characters 0-9,A-Z,a-z.
Or when I select a case A22 it will only return A22 not A22 and a22. There
must be a way within Microsoft to make this happen.

And where are you trying to do this sort? In Windows Explorer, (in which
case it's not an Office problem), or a list in (say) an Excel spreadsheet?
