Differing manpower costs over years

Hi everyone,

I have a programme of work that is spread over 18 months however the
manpower cost changes at year end, is it possible to get project to tell me
the cost to the year end and then apply the new manpower cost to the
remaining duration of the project?

I am using Project 2000 and windows 2000

I can't remember if Project 2000 supports this, but double-click a resource
in the resource sheet View and select the Costs tab.

You can add a new cost and an Effective date from which the new rate will be
active.

That works a treat, I also found that running a report will break the info
into years which I had forgotten about
