Differnciate distributed lists and contacts

Dear all,

When I tried to get the contacts from outlook address book by using
outlook automation,

i am getting distributed lists too in the Outlook::items* , so there is
a problem in extracting

distributed lits properties. now i need to get contacts alone or
distributed list alone.

how can i do this. guide me in this regard.

I am using Outlook 2003 exchang server.
