diffrence between Replan and Reschedule

The terms are often used interchangeably.
Reschedule normally refers to changing of dates while holding resources and
scope constant. Replan might be a better word to use if you also want to
change the amount of work (or resources).

Replan might be more general than reschedule. If I replan a project, I may
be changing my fundamental approach (example, the project solution will now
use Linux instead of Windows XP).

Most of the meaning for Reschedule and Replan is derived from the sentence
using the word.

But what about end of project time in these 2 case? for reschedule , there
is no permission to extend time of project, and for replan there is.

Mohammad
