Does not reschedule project

I have updated the progress and when try to update the schedule with respect
to the status date, I get a message "Project did not reschedule certain
unstarted tasks because of a constraint date applied to them". I have checked
all constraint dates and they fall after the status date. Any way to overcome
this. Thanks.
